Just Follow the Gray Concrete!

So, tomorrow is the first day of school, and I'm off to school at 6:20 in the morning. And that's not the worst part. I don't know what my schedule is. I'm going in blind and told to follow the gray concrete. Actually, this is quite a big thing, since I'll be going into seventh grade after a whole summer of following my every move! This year will be chocked full of laughs and just weirdness.. TTYL!

Ah. Reading.

I have not blogged for quite some time now. I have done quite the contrary. I have read countless (actually, two) books and am reading another. I have mini-golfed, swam, and listened to music. Really, a great way to spend your summer.

So, here is the summaries and plots of The Book Thief and The Secret Life of Dilly McBean.

(Beginning with The Book Thief)

Liesel Meminger is German girl in Nazi Germany. Her brother dies on a train with one fatal cough. Her life then changed. At her brother's grave she steals her first book. Her lie, already torn in two, is then shredded when she is taken to her new foster parents. Soon she is stealing books from book burnings and mayor's wives. Then her life takes a turn of grave hope. The family then hides a Jew in their basement.

I give this........ 5 stars!

(The Secret Life of Dilly McBean)

Dilly has a secret. He is magnetic. His guardian is a bank. He has been shipped between camp to school and back to camp.  He always has wanted to climb mountains, but that didn't happen. Then he is moved to a small town and spied on. Another person knows his secret and  helps him develop it. He then saves the world with his power.

I give this book..... 3 stars.

I also read an article in Popular Science.

It was about a guy who dipped his hand in water then quickly dunked it in liquid nitrogen!

Don't do that.... ever. Anyway, where would you get the liquid nitrogen?

So, I don't have much else to say.

Sayonara, humble persons!
